We need your help...
I need your help.
About a year ago I began the journey of starting a new faith community called Connexion Tacoma. My vision is of a neighborhood Welcome Table in South Tacoma hosted by and for people in search of compassionate community. My goal is to open a brick and mortar location where neighbors can come together to prepare meals, host gatherings for spiritual growth and connect with companions on a journey toward freedom from addiction, poverty, homelessness and isolation.
In the first three years of Connexion, the majority of my funding comes from the United Methodist Church. I am required to raise a portion of my own support each year. This year I must to raise $2500 by the end of June. These funds support my personal compensation necessary to devote my full time and energies to this project.
Will you help me reach this $2500 goal by giving today? You can go directly to this secure link and donate online right now.
Many in our city are already invested in this work. With the help of dedicated cohosts, I lead six different empowerment groups to engage womxn in deep listening to each other, and our city. The womxn, who call themselves The Wolves, provide a critical community base that is calling on us to invite people from the local shelters, recovery programs, as well as male allies from South Tacoma into the kind of community that they have created.
Please partner with us as we seek to live out the compassionate heart of God in Tacoma!
With my deepest gratitude for your friendship and prayers,
